What happens when you try to become someone you're not?
What happens when you try to become someone you're not?
So tempting… isn’t it?
To feel powerful… to be seen… to be feared.
This story is not just about a fox.
It’s about all of us.
Our desire for respect…
our feeling that we are not enough.
In life, it’s
easy to wear a mask…
to live a lie the world believes.
But truth
waits.
And sometimes…
one small moment
is enough to expose everything.
So before you
try to become someone else…
pause.
Because your
true nature…
will always find its way back.
Watch till the
end… and ask yourself:
Who are you, really?
In a big, dense forest, there lived a fox named Ketu.
Ketu was smart and quick.
But no one respected him.
The wolves
ignored him.
The deer ran away faster than him.
Even the birds made fun of him.
Ketu felt small.
But deep
inside, he had a big desire.
He wanted
power.
He wanted respect.
He wanted to be feared… like the tiger.
When he walked,
everyone moved aside.
When he roared, the whole forest went silent.
Ketu often watched him from a bush..
“If only I had
that power,” he thought,
“no one would ever ignore me again.”
One night, a big storm came.
Thunder roared.
Rain poured heavily.
The whole forest was in chaos.
Ketu ran here
and there, trying to find shelter.
Suddenly, he slipped and fell into a ditch.
When he got up, he saw something shocking.
A tiger… lying
still.
Dead.
Maybe it was
struck by lightning.
Ketu’s heart
started beating fast.
Then an idea came to his mind.
The next
morning, something strange happened.
A tiger was
walking in the forest.
Or at least… it
looked like one.
It was actually
Ketu.
He had covered himself with the tiger’s skin and mud.
He walked slowly, just like the tiger.
And it worked.
Animals got scared and ran away.
For the first
time in his life…
Ketu felt powerful.
Days passed.
No one came
near him.
No one questioned him.
Food became
easy.
Respect came without asking.
Ketu was happy.
He thought,
“Now I have become a tiger.”
But there was
one problem.
He could not
roar.
So whenever the
time came,
he quietly walked away.
Most animals
were too scared to notice.
But not
everyone.
An old elephant
was watching carefully.
“This tiger is
strange,” he thought.
“He walks like a tiger… but never roars.”
Slowly, doubt started growing in the forest.
But fear was
still stronger than doubt.
Then one day…
everything changed.
A real tiger
returned to the forest.
And when he
roared…
the ground itself seemed to shake.
Ketu heard that
roar.
His body froze.
The real tiger
came closer.
Now both were
standing face to face.
All the animals
were watching from far.
The real tiger
looked at Ketu and said,
“Roar.”
Ketu stayed
silent.
Again the tiger
said,
“Roar.”
The forest
became completely quiet.
Ketu tried.
He opened his
mouth…
But what came
out was not a roar.
It was a weak
fox’s cry.
In that moment…
everything was exposed.
The animals
understood the truth.
“This is not a
tiger!”
“It’s a fox!”
“He fooled us!”
Fear turned
into anger.
Ketu’s power
disappeared instantly.
He just looked
at Ketu… calmly.
As if saying,
“You can’t become what you are not.”
Ketu felt
ashamed.
For the first
time,
he saw himself clearly.
He ran away
from the forest.
Far away.
Days later, he
looked at his reflection in water.
This time, he
didn’t turn away.
He saw a fox.
Not powerful.
Not feared.
But real.
Slowly, Ketu started a new life.
Not as a tiger…
but as a fox.
he earned respect for who he truly was.
